1. Purpose and Authorized Use
These terms govern the purchase and use of the Snifzi GPS tracker and its app. The Snifzi tracker is strictly for tracking pets. It is strictly forbidden to use this device to track a physical person without their explicit consent. Any illegal or improper use will result in immediate termination of the service without notice or compensation.
2. Hardware and SIM Card (IP68 Standard)
To guarantee complete waterproofing (IP68) which is essential for pets, the multi-network SIM card is soldered directly onto the tracker's motherboard. It is strictly forbidden to attempt to open the device, modify it, or extract the SIM card. Any attempt to disassemble it will immediately void the warranty and suspend access to Snifzi services.
3. Subscriptions, Renewal and Suspension
The tracker requires an active subscription (monthly or annual) to function. To guarantee continuous tracking of your pet, the subscription renews automatically at the end of each period. You can pause or cancel your subscription at any time from your customer area. The suspension will take effect at the end of the current billing cycle.
4. Technical Limitations and Dead Zones
Snifzi relies on mobile telecommunication networks (GSM/LTE) and GPS satellite signals. Therefore, Snifzi cannot guarantee 100% location accuracy or uninterrupted operation. The signal may be altered or unavailable in dead zones, basements, inside buildings, or in dense geographical areas (forests, mountains).
5. Assistance Device and Liability
The Snifzi tracker is a location assistance device and is in no way a foolproof rescue device. Snifzi disclaims all liability in the event of the pet running away, being lost, stolen, injured, or dying. The owner remains solely responsible for the supervision and safety of their pet.
6. Financial Limitation and Force Majeure
In the event of a prolonged service interruption due to a technical issue attributable to Snifzi, the only compensation claimable will be credit for additional subscription months. No cash refunds will be made. Furthermore, Snifzi cannot be held liable and will not issue any refunds for ongoing subscriptions in the event of force majeure, changes in legislation, sale of the company, bankruptcy, or definitive cessation of activity.
